Maple Peanut Brittle

3 1/2 tbsp. Butter
2 1/2 cups Bella Hill Maple Syrup
1/2 tsp. Salt
2/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 to 2 cups large peanuts

Cook butter, syrup, salt and sugar until it reaches 300 degrees F. on a candy thermometer – brittle stage. Add peanuts and stir. Pour immediately onto cookie sheet. Cool and break into pieces.
